Terms of Use

The terms that govern use of this website, its content and the forms it carries.

About these terms

This website is published by Kerala Medical Device Industry Association (KMDIA), registered office 9/595A, Kadayiruppu, Pattimattom, Ernakulam, Kerala 682311, India. By using the site you accept these terms.

If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

What this website is for

The site exists to explain what KMDIA is, who it represents and how organisations can participate, and to publish the association's news, events and industry analysis.

It is a source of general industry information. It is not a substitute for professional advice, and it is not a regulatory, certification or licensing service.

No professional advice

Nothing on this site constitutes legal, regulatory, clinical, certification, procurement, tax or investment advice, and nothing on it should be relied on as such.

Requirements for a specific product or organisation depend on facts this website cannot know. Consult the responsible authority and a qualified professional before making a decision.

What KMDIA does not guarantee

KMDIA represents industry priorities, runs learning programmes and makes introductions. It has no authority over the decisions of regulators, funders or purchasers.

  • Membership does not replace any licence, registration, certification, standard or legal obligation.
  • KMDIA cannot obtain a regulatory approval on a member's behalf.
  • KMDIA does not guarantee funding, scheme selection, tender eligibility, purchase preference, orders, contracts or partnerships.
  • Programme availability and member benefits depend on eligibility and may change.

Accuracy of published information

KMDIA takes care over what it publishes. Sector statistics carry their publisher and the period they describe, and are linked to the primary source so you can verify them.

Information can still date or contain errors. The site is provided as it stands, without warranty that it is complete, current or error free.

If you find something inaccurate, please tell us at secretariatkmdia@gmail.com and we will review it.

Forms and submissions

Submitting the membership interest form records an expression of interest. It is not a membership application, a payment request, or a guarantee of admission.

Registering interest in an event is not a ticket and does not guarantee a seat. Attendance is subject to confirmation, capacity and the event terms.

You confirm that the information you submit is accurate and that you are authorised to submit it on behalf of the organisation named.

Do not make a payment in response to a website form unless KMDIA has sent you an official instruction after review.

Intellectual property

The content of this site, including text, layout, graphics and the KMDIA name and logo, belongs to KMDIA or to its licensors.

You may read, download and print pages for your own reference or for internal use within your organisation. Republishing, systematically copying or commercially exploiting the content requires written permission.

Quoting a short extract with attribution and a link back to the source page is welcome.

Logos and third-party material

Member and institutional logos remain the property of their owners and are shown with permission. Their appearance on this site does not transfer any right to use them.

Where the site links to an external website, that site is outside KMDIA's control. A link is not an endorsement, and KMDIA is not responsible for external content.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the site or its forms to send unlawful, misleading, defamatory or abusive material.
  • Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its infrastructure or its data.
  • Do not scrape, harvest or reuse contact details from the site for marketing.
  • Do not misrepresent your identity or your authority to act for an organisation.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KMDIA is not liable for loss arising from reliance on the content of this site, from its unavailability, or from any decision taken on the basis of information published here.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes and governing law

KMDIA may update the site and these terms. The date shown alongside this document indicates when it was last revised, and continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Kerala have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
